Many families in and around the Lindmoor Woods neighborhood sensed a great need for growing a friendly community and felt a pool would help accomplish that.  The land was purchased and progress started in 1969. The first season the pool was open was the summer of 1970.  The tennis courts were added in 1979/1980.

Our motto is that we are “A Caring Community“, a place where you can feel your kids are safe, and they and you can make friends and connect with others having fun together.

By the late 1990’s, our pool was in poor shape and membership was down to about 80 members.  We decided to take out a bank loan in order to renovate and repair the pool.  Slowly we gained membership and were debt free by 2001 with 187 members.  Currently in 2019, we have 210 member families and continue to be debt free!

In the early 2000’s, our neighborhood wanted to have a playground.  We joined with a neighborhood group and jointly invested and built a playground on our facilities for anyone in the neighborhood (not just members) to use. The current playground will need upkeep and/or replacement in the coming years. We plan to make improvements in partnership with the Lindmoor Woods community.

In 2022, our tennis courts were renovated by Southeastern Tennis Courts. We added pickleball courts as well.

The following repairs, projects and upgrades have been completed and paid for in cash from 2012-2022:

• New clubhouse roof
• Baby pool replaster
• Resurfaced the tennis courts
• Membership website, email and file system
• New and matching pool furniture, umbrellas and extra chaise lounges. More coming in summer 2022!
• Conversion from chlorine to saline
• Trash & Recycling receptacle area with privacy fence
• Bathroom stall replacements, toilet replacements, bathroom tile
• New deck pavilion, grill and picnic tables
• Online payment system and swim team registration
• Sink hole and ground fill repair
• Major plumbing and electrical repair
• Completely new concrete pool deck including expanded deck space
• Full sod replacement for green space
• Spring board, diving blocks, coping and tile
• New fence and shade screens, security cameras, lock & key changes and improvements
• New sound system and lighting
• New pool interior plaster shell completed in late winter 2019
• FUTURE GOALS: club house renovation
